A new role for vitamin B6 in plants

WT & pdx3 mutant ArabidopsisThe team of Teresa Fitzpatrick has discovered that a Vitamin B6 vitamer informs the plant of its content in ammonium, which is essential to growth. The study was published in the journal The Plant Cell, on February 8, 2016.
