The Faculty of Sciences, in collaboration with external partners, has established an Excellence Fellowship Program to support outstanding and highly motivated candidates who intend to pursue a Master of Science in any of the disciplines covered by the Faculty. Admission criteria can be consulted on the relevant Master Web pages. French proficiency is no longer a formal requirement for the Masters of the Faculty of sciences.
The next application deadline is 15 March 2013 (for Masters starting in September 2013).
Research projects done during the Master in Biology relate to fields as diverse as molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, evolution, developmental biology, plant or animal biology, anthropology, physiology, microbiology or biomedical research. This course of studies offers improvement of practice knowledge, thanks to work performed in the laboratory.
It also offers the possibility to carry out training courses in other fields such as marine biology, ecology, as well as tropical or alpine botanic.
In addition to the Master in Biology, with an open choice of classes, several specialized orientations offer a focused program (compulsory classes and restricted choices).
